As Christians, we are called to “rejoice with those who rejoice and mourn with those who mourn” (Romans 12:15-18), and this is something we especially need to do at Christmastime, which can be a painful time for many. On Sunday 15th December, in place of our usual 9:30am service, St Mark’s will be holding a special Service of Lament, as a way to mourn together as a church over hard things that have happened, and to point one another to the deep hope Jesus brings. All welcome, including any guests.
