Sundays

We’re a church for all Armidale, and for people from all backgrounds!

St Mark’s UNEchurch meets every Sunday: 9:30AM and 6:30PM

Location: 73 Trevenna Road, University of New England, Armidale

Getting together on Sundays is a huge highlight of the week at St Mark’s. And we’d love to have you come join in!

Grow in knowing Jesus as we enjoy clear Bible teaching, encouraging singing, passionate prayers, special programs for Kids and Teens, and great chat times over barista coffee and tea.

Frequently asked questions

Think casual! There is absolutely no dress code for St Mark’s. If you’d wear it to the shops, you can wear it to church.

We have our own onsite parking for over 100 vehicles, including accessible parking. Turn off Trevenna Rd onto The Short Run, and you’ll see our carpark on your right.

If you’re coming to our Morning Service, there will be people around to direct you towards the lecture theatre from the carpark. Most people arrive for our Morning Service around 9:15AM or a bit after. As you walk into the venue, there will usually be a few friendly faces at the door who will say hello and let you know you’re in the right place! At the door, you’ll be offered a nametag if you’d like one. Kids start in the service at our Morning Service, and then head out to their kids programs mid-way through the service.

If you’re coming to our Evening Service, head straight on into the main Chapel building, right next to the carpark. Generally, our evening service goers arrive from 6:20PM onwards, but there will be people around if you arrive earlier. You’ll be offered a nametag at the door if you’d like one. Kids stay in for the whole service at our Evening Service, there is no kids program available at this service.

When the meeting starts, feel free to sit anywhere you feel comfortable. There is no assigned seating.

At both of our services, we generally sing a few songs, hear about things happening in the life of our church & upcoming events, read the Bible together, hear someone preach from the Bible, pray.

We sure do! There are kids programs catering for toddlers through to year 8 students at our 9:30AM Morning Service. Head to our Kids page [LINK] for all the info.

We pack a lot of meaningful things into our services, and to make sure we’ve got enough time to do it all we aim for our services to go for around 75-80 minutes.

Not if you don’t want to! We do some things during the service that the congregation participates in, like singing, praying or reading together, or sharing in Communion, but you can always feel free to simply watch along and listen in.

We’re an interdenominational evangelical church, which means we welcome people from ALL church backgrounds. ‘Evangelical’ just means we take the Bible seriously, we believe it’s the word of God, and we’re committed to teaching it faithfully each and every week. We are overseen and staffed by the Anglican Diocese of Armidale.

For sure! We often have people checking out Jesus and Christianity by coming along to a Sunday service, and we are always planning and praying that what we do together is helpful for those who aren’t yet Christians as well as those who are. Please come along! And if you have any questions or would like to have a follow-up chat, please reach out – one of our friendly team members would love to help you explore more.

Yes, of course you can! We have people from many different denominational backgrounds who call our church home.

We love the Bible’s message about Jesus, and we want to help you engage with it!

We want church to be accessible to all. To help make your visit more comfortable we would love to hear from you, so we can ensure your needs are met.

We are currently holding our 9:30AM Morning Service in the Belshaw Lecture Theatre, which is immediately opposite our carpark. We have accessible parking spots in our carpark, with more accessible spots immediately alongside the Lecture Theatre. Flat access with no steps is available for this Theatre. The theatre is largely tiered seating, with one row of ground-level seating available for those in wheelchairs or those who cannot navigate steps. An accessible toilet is available adjacent to the Theatre.

Our 6:30PM Evening Service is held in our Chapel Building, which is fully wheelchair accessible and includes an accessible toilet.

Planning is well underway for a new larger Church Building, which will also be fully wheelchair accessible.

We'd love to see you!
