We serve because Jesus first served us!
If you’re somebody who trusts Jesus, you know how precious it is to have had the Son of God lay down his life for you. “For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” (Mark 10:45)

One of the great privileges of the Christian life is getting to follow Jesus in this – serving others sacrificially. God has given each person in his church gifts and skills, so that we can love each other and love the lost. We quite literally need each other!
